Training Policies

Guiding a child’s behavior is something that happens throughout the day, every day. This practice is not only present when challenging behaviors occur but also in every experience from classroom management, routines, interactions, and social emotional development when forming secure attachments. This training will identify some challenging behaviors we see in our work with young children, link secure attachment and social/emotional development to positive guidance, identify and implement strategies to use in the classroom when guiding young children, and lastly, working with families in your programs on using positive guidance at home.
