Training Policies

Culture is all around us and affects the way we understand our role as teachers, parents, and our view of children. This training focuses on the diversity of perspectives, worldviews, and communication styles that exist in unique cultures. Why do some families foster independence much more than others? Why do certain ways of communicating seem to work with some staff, but not others? What is my own cultural worldview? Come ready to learn about the diverse ways that people understand, interact, and behave with one another.
