Latina Equal Pay Day raises awareness of the inequality in wage earnings for Latina women. According to Equal Rights Advocates, “part-time Latina workers earn only 54 cents for every dollar earned by white, non-Hispanic men. Those who work full time year-round only earn 57 cents to the dollar.” This means Latina women must work an additional 12 months to reach the same wage as white men make in a year.  Latina Equal Pay Day is December 8 which is the last Equal Pay Day of the calendar for BIPOC women. Thus, it makes Latina women the lowest earners among BIPOC women who are already experiencing unfair wage gaps.  2022 Equal Pay Days

  • September 8: Moms’ Equal Pay Day
