On-The-Job Training (OJT) is a “hire-first” program in which the employer enters into an agreement to hire, train, and retain the individual upon successful completion of the training program.
Through this program, businesses may be reimbursed for up to 75% of the new employee’s wages and the extraordinary costs of the training.
Customized training can help an employer or group of employers meet their unique needs for skilled workers by providing a 50% reimbursement of the training cost associated with a new or recently hired employee. In limited circumstances, customized training may be available for existing employees.
Incumbent Worker Training
Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) can help qualifying companies upskill current workers to be more competitive. IWT improves productivity, creates new revenue streams, and improves retention of valued employees.
An internship offers students practical work experience or a project, given by a designated supervisor. An opportunity to observe, contribute, and rotate through the different parts of the department/organization.
