YWCA STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS

Let’s explore how we build the win-win-win, with partnerships that benefit your business, the YWCA, and the women and families we serve.

Support Our Work

Investments in women yield a double dividend as women are more likely than men to reinvest in their families and their communities. Those who choose to invest in our programs and services are part of the value creation occurring in our marketplace. We can help determine the right programmatic alignment and level of support for your corporate or foundation contribution. We can also develop employee volunteer opportunities as well as customized recognition across traditional and social media, physical signage and special events.

Sponsor an Event

There are a variety of YWCA events that provide our partners an opportunity to engage with our constituency made up of clients, staff, board members and other partners. Our events range in size from intimate cocktail and lunch gathering to our annual Leader Luncheon with over 1,200 guests and representation from the corporate, civic and social change sectors. We also invite partners to host Empowerment Evenings, topical networking events that offer the chance to convene stakeholders around a topic that is of interest to both your network and the YWCA’s constituency.

Develop Cause Marketing Initiatives

With YShop as well as other live and digital collaborations, we partner with businesses to provide consumers access to select products or services with a portion of sales benefitting YWCA Metropolitan Chicago. Consumers feel compelled to buy from our partners because their purchase is making a difference and your business increases sales and gains a new loyal following. We have experienced great success with partners such as Maria Pinto, Jimmy Choo, Tamara Mellon, Akira, Sugar Bliss Cupcakes, Kendra Scott, Le Colonial, Tortoise Club and more.

Create Engagement Opportunities for your Employees

Our supporters are provided the opportunity to build meaningful volunteer engagements for their employees with the YWCA. Individuals or groups can contribute through one-time or on-going volunteer service. We are especially interested in matching the skills of your employees with the needs of those we serve.
