Stress affects every aspect of our life including our attention, thoughts, actions, emotions and overall health. The same is true
for children. During this training, we will learn about how stress affects us by focusing on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and Executive Functioning. We will also learn about toxic stress, vicarious trauma and self-care techniques to help combat the stress in your life. Participants will leave this training with practical tools to help them deal with children’s stress as well as their own.
