Using Positive Guidance: Forming Secure Relationships & Guiding Challenging Behaviors in Young Children @ Grace United Methodist Church, Room 231 | Naperville | Illinois | United States

Presenter: Casey Craft-Cortes, YWCA Infant Toddler Specialist & ITN Trainer

Guiding a child’s behavior is something that is done throughout the day, every day. This practice is not only present when challenging behaviors occur but also in every experience from classroom management, routines, interactions, and social-emotional development when forming secure attachments. This training will identify some challenging behaviors we see in our work with young children, link relationship building to positive guidance and identify and implement strategies to use in the classroom and at home.

Targeted Audience: All Early Childhood & Youth Professionals
