Exploring Illinois Children’s Well-Being: Interactive Maps

Every year, federal and state agencies release data on the overall well-being of children in Illinois. But it can be hard to understand what these data mean or to unpack variations across the state. To visualize children’s experiences across the state, we have designed interactive maps that capture key indicators of children’s welfare. These maps reflect data on children’s wellness in the areas of demographic change, socioeconomics, family and community, education, and health and well-being.
